Unexpected social and political events worldwide developed in the last three years conflicted with theoretical assumption, practical predictions, and reasonable expectations. Conspiration theories and unorthodox economic measures walked hand in hand leaving passage to extremists, polarization, and disputable pandemics. Praised artificial intelligence, blockchain technology and FinTech innovation showed their weaknesses in scandals and bankruptcies. Composite indicators aiming at describing multi-dimensional characteristics and general classifications abound, while researchers struggle to ensure consistency and stability of the weighted constituent factors. We consider these as gifts in the light of Karl Popper and Thomas Kun’s falsification and paradigm scientific theories and we invite any papers counting failures in predictions to contribute for shifting research paradigms.

Ahmed RHIF
Is a distinguished researcher, and innovation leader with over eighteen years of experience in scientific research, higher education, and industrial development. He currently serves as CEO and Director of CNPSI in Tunisia and as advisor to the American Center for Sciences and Innovation in the United States.
He previously held leadership positions as Dean of the International Centre for Innovation and Development and as Chief Technical Officer at LEONI, a global leader in wiring systems. He also worked as Project Manager and Method Engineer at SMSI and CABLITEC, bringing valuable expertise from the industrial sector. Alongside his industry contributions, Dr. Rhif spent twelve years as a university lecturer under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Tunisia. His research focuses on modelling, control systems, engineering design, renewable energy, and the application of international quality standards such as ISO/TS 16949. He is the author and editor of more than thirteen books in electrical engineering, control systems, renewable energy, and engineering management. Actively engaged in the international academic community, Dr. Rhif also serves as reviewer and editorial board member for high-impact journals published by Elsevier, Springer, Inderscience, and Taylor & Francis.

Adriana Mihnea
works at the UNESCO Department of Business Administration, Bucharest University of Economic Studies and it is PhD supervisor within the Agri-Food and Environmental Doctoral School. She was a Fulbright Senior Researcher Grantee at East Bay California University US, Visiting Professor at Katz Business School, Pittsburgh University, US at the invitation of Thomas Saaty and head of two ACE Phare research grants in Leicester University, UK. In Bucharest is teaching the only comprehensive course in AHP/ANP and participated at national scale applications of this technique. Main scientific interest concern fundamentals of intelligent techniques, econometrics of short time series and decision theory: Analytic Hierarchy Processes and Analytic Network Processes.
