Economics of education and impactful public service leadership

In the current economic and geopolitical context, it is expected that the discussions within this session address the changes in the business environment – that is becoming more and more competitive, the need to adapt qualifications to the labor market and, last but not least, contribute to the adaptation of skills to the current needs of the labor market. Academics, business practitioners, research students and people working in the public administration and non-governmental sector are invited to submit papers on the topic Economics of education and impactful public service leadership

Madlena Nen
PhD in Management, Professor at the Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. She teaches Business Models, Market Analysis and Business Games. Her current interests include the role of entrepreneurship in stimulating the economic growth in developed and developing countries, the internationalization process, the economic of education and leadership, strategy and management of organizations in different sectors such as research and education, military, energy.

Anca Bogdan
is associate professor at the Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages (FABIZ) and director of the UNESCO Department of Business Administration. She received her PhD in Human Resources Management from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies in 2011 and has a background Business Administration (B.A. from FABIZ-ASE) and Finance & Controlling (M.A. double degree University of Orléans – France – and ASE Bucharest). She has 15+ years experience in managing international relations, mobility and institutional development programs at the university level. Anca’s research interests center on talent and competence management, management of organizational change and internationalization in higher education.
