Integrated energy systems are key solutions in decarbonizing the energy systems and reducing the GHG emissions (e.g. CO2 emissions) in order to combat climate change. Energy systems include production (Hydro, nuclear, photovoltaic, wind, gas, coal), transport (electricity, thermal energy, hydrogen), storage and energy use (industry, transport, households).

Digital circular economy is more than: reduce, reuse, recycle and remove. It can reduce also the internet network energy consumption and can be associated with a reduction of emissions in everyday digital life.

The main topics covered by the hereby call for papers are related to:

  • Integrated energy systems
  • Digital circular economy
  • Climate change mitigation
  • Energy production
  • Energy transport
  • Energy storage
