The post-pandemic period requires a reassessment of priorities and approaches for sustainable development. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought to the fore the vulnerabilities and inequities in our society and demonstrated the need for a more sustainable approach to health, economy and environment. In this context, technology and innovation have a crucial role in defining new horizons for sustainable development.
Sustainable development, technology and innovation are interconnected in a complex way and offer significant opportunities for building a better future in the post-pandemic era. Research in this direction can contribute to addressing pressing societal issues and developing innovative solutions for a more sustainable and prosperous future.

Florentina Constantin
is an associate professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania, Department of Agro-Food and Environmental Economics, she teaches Agricultural Economy and Policy and Common Agriculture Policy and she has over 24 years of teaching and research experience. She completed the Ph.D. in Economics in 2005 and Postdoctoral Studies in Economy of Knowledge Transfer in Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection in 2013. She has a wide experience as member of research teams in 21 national and international research projects. Also, she published over the 60 scientific papers in national and international journals and conference proceedings, books and chapters as author and co-author in her research interest, and she was member of international conferences committees. Her research interest areas are: Market and farmers support under the Common Agriculture Policy, Rural development, Land market, Labour market, Organic farming, Sustainable development of agriculture, Food safety, Sustainable food consumption, Agri-Food Economy.

Marko Jeločnik
Ph.D., Senior Research Associate is the deputy director of the Institute of Agricultural Economics from Belgrade, Serbia. During his scientific-research work, he was (co)author at over the 150 scientific papers, mainly published in scientific journals. He is dominantly oriented to the field of agroeconomy, with special accent to investments in agriculture, economics of agriculture, or strategic planning in agriculture and rural communities. So far, he was involved in realization of over the 50 scientific and professional projects.
