This Minitrack focuses on the application of statistical methods and data-driven approaches in the fields of economics and management. It aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss innovative methodologies, empirical analyses, and practical applications of statistics to address complex problems in business, finance, marketing, operations, and economic policy. Topics include, but are not limited to, regression analysis, time series modeling, multivariate analysis, panel data, forecasting, risk assessment, econometrics, and decision analytics. Contributions that integrate statistical theory with real-world economic and managerial challenges are especially welcome.

Mihail Buşu
is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His research focuses on Statistics and Econometrics, Economic Modelling, Circular Economy, Competition Policy, Decisional Processes, Financial Risks and Risk Management. He has published many articles in peer-reviewed journals, including Mathematics, Symmetry, Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, Amfiteatru Economic, Energies and Processes.
Dr. Busu is reviewer of the international journals Management & Marketing. Challenges for the Knowledge Society, Amfiteatru Economic, Mathematics, Economies, Energies and Journal of Risk and Financial Management. In 2019 was the recipient of the Georgescu Roegen Award for outstanding scientific research. Since 2015, Mihail Busu is a member of Romanian Actuarial Society.
Enrico Prinz
is an Associate Professor of Finance and Corporate Governance as well as Director of Internationalization at EM Strasbourg Business School / University of Strasbourg (France). His main research area is international corporate governance and comprises the topics board interlocks, diversity of decision-making instances as well as managerial compensation and value creation. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Management and Governance, Review of Managerial Science, Finance Contrôle Stratégie, Journal of Business Economics, and Swiss Journal of Business Research and Practice.
Cristina State
is a Professor PhD Habil. at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) in Romania, specializing in management, business communication, and negotiation. She holds a PhD in Management awarded Summa Cum Laude with a specialization in organizational communication in tourism, as well as post-doctoral qualifications in management and master’s degrees in both international economic relations and management. Having advanced through academic ranks at ASE since 2013, she delivers undergraduate and graduate coursework in Romanian and English while also contributing to international accreditations as a collaborator in the university’s International Relations Office. In addition to her higher education tenure, she has operated as a freelance corporate trainer since 2017, delivering professional development workshops on team management, cross-cultural skills, and communication across Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Dr. State is an accomplished scholar who has authored 5 books, directed and collaborated on industry-partnered research grants, and published 37 peer-reviewed articles – 35 of which are indexed in Web of Knowledge/ISI – alongside presenting at 25 ISI-indexed international conferences. Multi-lingual in Romanian, English, Spanish, and French, her academic work strongly emphasizes student mentoring, intercultural collaboration, and connecting academic research with organizational practice.
