Mini Track Chair:
This mini-track is dedicated to young students who are at the beginning of their scientific research career. The track welcomes papers from undergarduate and graduate students (BA, MA, PhD candidates) with an interest in business administration or in economics.

Vanesa Vargas is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages, where she teaches Entrepreneurship, the European Business Environment and Business Simulations. Her field of research is focused on E-Commerce, and her doctoral thesis was centered on the use of personal data in E-Business and Consumer Protection. She is the office manager of the Higher Education and Research in Management of European Universities (HERMES) and past President of the Rotaract Deva Association. She is a graduate of the German section of the Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages and completed in 2019 the studies for the Bachelor of Laws. Vanesa is a former Konrad Adenauer Foundation scholar and in 2016 she obtained a Trainer certificate. She completed an internship in the Romanian Government, at the Ministry for Small and Medium Enterprises. Recently, she has taken on a key role in organizing the International Conference on Business Excellence, the International Conference on Economics and Social Sciences and publishing the conference proceedings. Vanesa has strong ties with the entrepreneurial network of FABIZ and actively contributes to its development.

Raul Cristian Bâg is a PhD student at HU Berlin and ASE Bucharest. His general research interests are Machine Learning, MLOps, Research Transparency and Reproducibility and Decentralised Finance. He currently has the role of Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages where he will be teaching seminars that include a range of subjects from Statistics and Data Analytics to Blockchain. Currently, he also works part time as a senior cloud engineer at a private corporate company, which is the worldwide leader in the area of biometry. This helps him keep in touch with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Publication Opportunities:
The conference is organized by Society for Business Excellence and Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages on the 23-25 of March 2023 at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ) in partnership with the Romanian Academy, the University of Bucharest and the Sapienza University from Rome, Italy. The papers accepted at ICBE 2023 will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration, payment and presentation. The papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings volume under the German Publishing House De Gruyter and they will be indexed in EBSCO, Proquest, ExLibris, OCLC, Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic, CELDES, CNPIE, Naviga, and will be submitted to Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Science (WOS) Conference Proceedings Citation Index (https://content.sciendo.com/view/journals/picbe/picbe-overview.xml

In addition, the best three Papers (Best paper Award Management&Marketing) will be published in the international journal Management & Marketing. Challenges for the Knowledge Society by De Gruyter Open, indexed in Web of Science- Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Scopus, Proquest, Cabell’s Directory and more than 20 other international databases (www.degruyter.com/view/j/mmcks).
Selected papers will be published, subject to review, in a Special Issue of Sustainability journal (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/sustainability/special_issues/Post-Industrial_Design_Sustainability_Development_Goals).
A selection of the submitted papers will be published, subject to review, in the Romanian Journal of Economic Forecasting (https://ipe.ro/rjef.htm).
At the final ceremony, based on a selection of the international committee, there will be granted three Best Paper Awards Management&Marketing (https://content.sciendo.com/view/journals/mmcks/mmcks-overview.xml, indexed in Web of Science) and two Excellence Awards.
