Mini Track Chair:
Integrated energy systems are key solutions in decarbonizing the energy systems and reducing the GHG emissions (e.g. CO2 emissions) in order to combat climate change. Energy systems include production (Hydro, nuclear, photovoltaic, wind, gas, coal), transport (electricity, thermal energy, hydrogen), storage and energy use (industry, transport, households).
Digital circular economy is more than: reduce, reuse, recycle and remove. It can reduce also the internet network energy consumption and can be associated with a reduction of emissions in everyday digital life.
The main topics covered by the hereby call for papers are related to:

Adrian Dumitru Tanţău is Professor at ASE Bucharest, UNESCO Chair for Business Administration where he is coordinating since 2014 the MBA Entrepreneurship and Business Administration in Energy. Between 2012 -2016 he was Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. During 2012-2015, he was the President of “Society for Business Excellence” association. Between 2009 and 2013 he was member in the Board of the Company Hidroserv Portile de Fier S.A., Drobeta Turnu Severin. He has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Politechnical University Bucharest) and a Ph.D. in Management (Bucharest University of Economic Studies). His research activity is focused on business models in energy, especially renewable energy, energy security and energy efficiency. He is member a member of the European Foundation for Entrepreneurship Research, with the headquarter in Amsterdam, since 2006, member of the Commission of Economic Science and Business Administration CNATDCU since 2012, a honorary member of the National Romanian Committee of the Global Energy Council, since 2014.

Dr. Holger Berg is project co-ordinator in the department of Circular Economy of the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy. His scientific interests lie in the conditions of resource-conserving economic activity and Circular Economy, with a focus on innovation, entrepreneurship and digitisation. His work deals in particular with the consequences and opportunities arising from the digital transformation for Circular Economy. Holger teaches at different universities. He is an international expert in the field of entrepreneurship and advises entrepreneurs and company founders.

The conference is organized by Society for Business Excellence and Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages on the 21-23 of March 2024 at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ) in partnership with the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Economics (EAM) and the Faculty of International Economic Relations (REI).
The papers accepted at ICBE 2024 will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration, payment, and presentation. The papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings volume under the German Publishing House De Gruyter and they will be indexed in EBSCO, Proquest, ExLibris, OCLC, Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic, CELDES, CNPIE, Naviga, and will be submitted to Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Science (WOS) Conference Proceedings Citation Index (https://content.sciendo.com/view/journals/picbe/picbe-overview.xml
The last 7 editions of the Proceedings of the ICBE volumes have been indexed in ISI Web of Science.

In addition, the best three Papers (Best paper Award Management&Marketing) will be published in the international journal Management & Marketing.
