Mini Track Chair:
Over recent years, companies from different domains started to invest in ERP systems with the aim of exploring opportunities and employing technology to optimize business performance. Balancing between reducing costs and risks and increasing business resilience, the companies are facing challenges related to the development of ERP systems in the context of business disruption and need for adaptation to the new digital technologies.
The main topics covered by the hereby call for papers are related to:

Dana-Maria Boldeanu is PhD. in accounting since 2008 and Associate Professor at Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Department of Management Information Systems with over 20 years of teaching and research activity. From 2016 she is a member of the department’s council. She is Executive Director of “Centre for Advanced Studies on Electronic Services” since 2009. Her research activity includes over 30 articles and studies published in indexed journals and in national and international conference proceedings, participation as member in more than 15 research projects developed on national and international scale with topics like e-services, IT governance and audit, knowledge management and ERP systems, university management. Since 2016 she is an associate profesor at INDE MBA program sharing knowledge on project management for professionals, entrepreneurs, and managers with vast business experience.

Mihai Florin is the Head of Management Information Systems’ Department since 2013 and held the position of vice dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems between 2008 and 2012.
Between 2008 and 20013, he was the coordinator of the IT system’s development team for university management of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and currently he is part of its maintenance team. He participated as a member of several development teams of different IT platforms in the field of education, financial and accounting and others.
Regarding the research activity, he is mainly focused on the area of computer platforms for the educational field, ERP systems, ensuring sustainability in the context of digitization.
Since 2022 he is a member of the Council of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS), and between 2010 and 2021 he was a member of the ARACIS Commission of Permanent Experts for distance and part-time education.

Dr. Tamás Orosz has cultivated a rich background in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), spanning both academic and industry roles. Since 1998, he has contributed to numerous SAP implementations and consulting projects in Hungary and internationally, including key assignments in the United States, India, and Sweden. His expertise is further supported by certifications, such as TERP10 for ERP Integration of Business Processes and HANATEC for SAP HANA Technology. In 2005, Dr. Orosz was invited to present at the Tactics Conference in London, where he shared insights on SAP Best Practices based on his White Paper publication.
Since 2005, Dr. Orosz has been supervising students at multiple levels, including bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD candidates, as well as guiding New National Excellence Program scholarship recipients in ERP and related fields. As a long-time SAP educator, he has delivered numerous ERP courses in both English and Hungarian, authoring course materials and international articles since 2011. Dr. Orosz has served as a chair and co-chair for various international conferences since 2014, contributing to global discussions on ERP advancements.
Currently, Dr. Orosz is Co-Acting Head of the Department of Data Science and Data Technology at Eötvös Loránd University and has previously held leadership positions, including as an Institute Director. His work in academia is complemented by his commitment to talent development, where he fosters STEM education through high school International Olympiad training and SAP Alliance coordination. He is a public member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and holds dual habilitations in Informatics Sciences from Eötvös Loránd University and Óbuda University, emphasizing the role of ERP in sustainable innovation. Through his work, Dr. Orosz bridges academic research and practical applications, contributing to a sustainable approach to digital transformation in ERP systems education and industry alike.
Publication Opportunities:
The conference is organized by Society for Business Excellence and Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages on the 20-22 of March 2025 at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ) in partnership with the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Economics (EAM), the Faculty of International Economic Relations (REI), the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics (CSIE), the Faculty of Finance and Banking (FABBV), the Faculty of Theoretical and Applied Economics (ETA), the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems (CIG).
The papers accepted at ICBE 2025 will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration, payment, and presentation. The papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings volume under the German Publishing House De Gruyter and they will be indexed in EBSCO, Proquest, ExLibris, OCLC, Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic, CELDES, CNPIE, Naviga, and will be submitted to Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Science (WOS) Conference Proceedings Citation Index (https://content.sciendo.com/view/journals/picbe/picbe-overview.xml)
The last 8 editions of the Proceedings of the ICBE volumes have been indexed in ISI Web of Science.

Additionally, three papers, selected based on the review process, will be published in the international journal Management & Marketing, indexed in Web of Science- Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Scopus, Proquest, Cabell’s Directory and more than 20 other international databases (https://sciendo.com/journal/MMCKS).
Submitted papers will also be considered for publication in the Journal of Risk and Financial Management (ISSN 1911-8074). JRFM is ranked B in the 2022 ABDC Journal Quality List and indexed by a number of databases, including Scopus (CiteScore 4.5; CiteScore category rank Q1), EconBiz/ECONIS, EconLit, EconPapers (RePEc), etc. JRFM is now #8 on the list based on the citation index (H5) for finance. In addition, two best paper awards (200 CHF each) will be published in the conference’s special issue “Leading Change in Disruptive Financial Times“. Selected papers will be considered for publication in the Journal of Financial Studies (ISSN: 2559-1347). JFS has been published by the Institute of Financial Studies since 2016. In its pages, works by professional practitioners, but also by authors from the scientific and university world in the country and abroad, as well as young researchers, will be published, concerning issues in the financial field such as: insurance-reinsurance, capital market, private pensions but also in other fields such as the academic field, the business field etc. The journal is indexed in DOAJ, RePEc, CEEOL, ERIHPLUS and Google Scholar (https://revista.isfin.ro/en/).
All papers submitted to ICBE 2025 will undergo a thorough review for plagiarism and the use of Generative AI tools.
