FinTech aims to improve the efficiency of financial systems using technology. FinTech bring several opportunities (competitive prices, better user experience, wider inclusion) but also risks (credit risks, market risks, cyber risks), amplified by the interconnectedness of FinTech platforms, which generates systemic risks.
We encourage submission of papers dealing with the following subject fields (but not limited to): Digital Banking, Internet Finance, Financial Inclusion, Asset Allocation, Impact Investment, Crypto Currency, Alternative Asset Management, Blockchain Technology, Robo Advising, Text Mining, P2P Financing, Financial Privacy Issues.
Selected papers will be published in a special issue of Digital Finance (Springer), a top tier peer-reviewed academic and practitioner journal that publishes high-quality articles with a focus on digital finance and innovation as well as on the analysis of digital and internet innovations on financial services and the economy.
Wolfgang Karl HÄRDLE did 1982 his Dr.rer. nat. in Mathematics at Universität Heidelberg and 1988 his Habilitation at Universität Bonn. He is Ladislaus von Bortkieviecz chair professor of statistics, Humboldt-Universitätzu Berlin. He is director of the Sino German International Research Training Group IRTG1792 „High dimensional non stationary time series analysis“ (WISE, Xiamen University). His research focuses on dimension reduction techniques, computational statistics and quantitative finance. He has published over 30 books and more than 300 papers in top statistical, econometrics and finance journals. He is highly ranked and cited on Google Scholar, REPEC and SSRN. He has professional experience in financial engineering, smart data analytics, machine learning and cryptocurrency markets. He has created a financial risk meter FRMand a cryptocurrency index CRIX hu.berlin/frm and a cryptocurrency index CRIX hu.berlin/crix. His web page is: hu.berlin/wkh.
Ying CHEN is a financial statistician and data scientist. She develops statistical modelling and machine learning methods to analyse nonstationary, high frequency and large dimensional complex data such as cryptocurrency, limit order book, and renewable energy. She also works on business intelligence, forecasting, text mining and sentiment analysis, and network analysis. Chen is Associate Professor in Department of Mathematics, National University of Singapore. She also holds Joint Appointment in Department of Statistics and Applied Probability (1 January 2019 to 31 December 2021), and Courtesy Appointment in Department of Economics (April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2021) at the National University of Singapore. She is also Faculty member in NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering since July 2016. Chen is Associate Editor of Statistica Sinica (August 1, 2017 to July 31, 2020), Statistics and Its Interface, Computational Statistics and the Journal Operations Research and Decisions. Chen is ISI Elected Member since March 2016. She is Scientific Secretary and member of Executive Committee of the International Association for Statistical Computing (IASC) from July 2017 to June 2019 and Board of Director ordinary member of the Asian Regional Section (ARS) of IASC. She is regular member of the Advisory Board of Institute of Statistical Mathematics, Japan from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2020
The conference is organized by Society for Business Excellence and UNESCO Department for Business Administration on the 19-21 of March 2020 at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ) in partnership with the Romanian Academy, the University of Bucharest and the Sapienza University from Rome, Italy. The papers accepted at ICBE 2020 will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration, payment and presentation. The papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings volume under the German Publishing House De Gruyter and they will be indexed in EBSCO, Proquest, ExLibris, OCLC, Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic, CELDES, CNPIE, Naviga, and will be submitted to Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Science (WOS) Conference Proceedings Citation Index (https://content.sciendo.com/view/journals/picbe/picbe-overview.xml)
Important! Papers presented to the International Conference on Business Excellence (ICBE 2019) will be considered for publication in a Special Issue of the Sustainability Journal, indexed Web of Science, Impact Factor: 1.789 (2016); 5-Year Impact Factor: 1.850 (2016); http://www.mdpi.com/journal/sustainability.
In addition, the best three Papers (Best paper Award Management&Marketing) will be published in the international journal Management & Marketing. At the final ceremony, based on a international committee selection, there will be granted three Best Paper Award Management&Marketing, two Excellence Awards and two Best Paper Awards of the Journal of Economic Forecasting, indexed in Web of Science (http://www.ipe.ro/rjef.htm).
